Arsenal News: Edu Boards Plane to Spain Amid Transfer Chase

Arsenal News: With reports that Arsenal is prepared to make a bid for Yeremy Pino, sporting director Edu has been seen boarding an aircraft to Valencia.

In order to raise money after missing out on the Champions League, Villarreal attacker Pino, 19, has been linked to a £33 million move to the Emirates Stadium. Although other teams have ties to the Gunners as well, Edu seems to be handling things on his own.

Unai Emery, the former manager of Arsenal, who is currently in charge of the Yellow Submarine, acknowledged that there might be an “obligation” to sell for the proper price. The release clause for the teenager is £67.5 million, although estimates indicate that only about half of that sum would be necessary to close a deal.

Those who shared the stills claimed the flight was headed to Valencia and showed Edu waiting to board a Ryanair-branded aircraft.

In response, Ryanair tweeted: “Edu, PINO(t) on the return flight?” in a playful offer to the Brazilian.

Arsenal’s summer spending would reach almost £150 million if they are successful in closing a deal for Pino. Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus, and Oleksandr Zinchenko received the majority of the sum, with Marquinhos and Matt Turner signing for less money.

Since moving from Manchester City, where they had previously collaborated with Mikel Arteta, Jesus and Zinchenko have played well. Jesus opened his account with two goals in the victory over Leicester on Saturday. On the other hand, Zinchenko contributed an assist for his team’s Premier League debut.

After the Leicester match, Arteta remarked, “I’m incredibly satisfied with the performance. The win, the three points, and with the manner, we played.”

It was thrilling to play in front of this audience. I thought it was a pretty terrific football match against a really talented opponent.

The crowd, in my opinion, was amazing, especially following Saliba’s own goal. I’ve never seen anything like how they responded in football.

“The level of connection and support they are demonstrating with us, particularly with William, immediately boosted the team. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude for it.

Last season, Arsenal had a limited roster and nevertheless managed to finish fifth. More signings like Pino might be required. Gunner will be playing Europa League this season. The pressure to finish in the top four after a second consecutive summer of significant investment will be challenging.
