PSG News: Achraf Hakimi Praises Lionel Messi’s Decision-Making

PSG news: Achraf Hakimi has backed his teammate Lionel Messi’s decision-making after Paris Saint-Germain secured a 1-0 win over Brest.

Hakimi was speaking after Messi’s assist helped Neymar score a goal and propel PSG to another three points in the Ligue 1.

Messi provided a sensational ball for Neymar in the 30th minute, and the Brazilian made the most of it, striking it past the Brest goalkeeper and into the net.

Speaking after the match, Hakimi backed Messi’s decision-making when asked about the Argentine not passing the ball to him.

He added: “This is not a problem. That’s how today he made the pass to Neymar and we took the three points.”

Meanwhile, PSG have had a stellar start to the 22/23 season. They began the campaign by defeating Nantes 4-0 in the Trophée des Champions final.

PSG then kicked-off their Ligue 1 22/23 season by taking on Clermont Foot and defeating them 5-0. The Parisians registered another thumping win when they faced Montpellier in their next game. PSG cruised to a 5-2 win in that game.

PSG’s biggest win so far this season came in their next match as they inflicted a heavy 7-1 defeat on LOSC Lille. Their perfect start to the season, though, came to a close when they were held to a 1-1 draw by AS Monaco in their next game.

PSG returned to winning ways when they played against Toulouse in their next game. They secured a 3-0 win over Toulouse. PSG then faced Nantes and registered another win by the same margin.

PSG also began their Champions League 22/23 campaign with a win. They hosted Juventus and got the better of the Italian side, defeating them 2-1. Mbappe scored both of PSG’s goals in that game.

PSG’s latest victory came against Brest, with, as aforesaid, Messi and Neymar linking up to score the only goal of the game.

PSG face Maccabi Haifa in an away fixture in the Champions League group stage in their next game.
