PSG News: Christophe Galtier Hails Neymar as One of the Best Players on the Planet
PSG news: Manager Christophe Galtier has heaped praise on Neymar after the Brazilian scored the winner in their victory over Brest in Ligue 1.
They have won all but one game they have played so far this season in the French top-flight. The game they dropped points came against AS Monaco, who held them to a 1-1 draw.
PSG’s latest victory in Ligue 1 came against Brest, who they defeated 1-0. Neymar scored the only goal of the game to propel the defending champions to another three points.
Speaking after the game, Galtier lavished praise on Neymar, who he described as one of the best players on the planet.
“He is very invested on a personal level but also in the interest of the team. He is a great professional and a great player. I discover him with pleasure every day,” the PSG manager added.
Neymar has been in sensational form for PSG this season and has already racked up 10 goals for the French side from just nine appearances.
PSG and Neymar began their 22/23 campaign in style defeating Nantes 4-0 in the Trophée des Champions final. Neymar scored two goals for PSG in that game.
PSG then kicked off their Ligue 1 campaign and have so far scored 25 goals from just seven matches in the French league this season. Neymar has scored 8 of those goals. He has also provided 6 assists in Ligue 1 this season.
Meanwhile, PSG began their Champions League 22/23 campaign by defeating Juventus in their opener. PSG inflicted a 2-1 defeat on the Italian side, with Mbappe scoring both of their goals. Neymar assisted one of Mbappe’s goals against Juventus.
