Lionel Messi Becomes the Brand Ambassador of BYJU’S
Rising from the famous La Masia, Lionel Messi spent the most part of his brilliant career at the Spanish club FC Barcelona.
Regarded as one of the best ever to grace the game of football, Messi took Barcelona to the pinnacle of World football. He won every possible trophy with the Catalan giants before leaving the club. Since then he has been playing for Ligue-1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi has also been fairly successful with his national team Argentina. Last year, he won the Copa America trophy with the Argentine team. He then added another trophy to his cabinet after defeating Italy in the Finalissima.
Throughout his career, Lionel Messi has been one of the most marketable players in the world. Sponsors and brands have fought to sign the Argentina superstar. And now one more brand has joined the huge list of Lionel Messi.
Indian Ed-Tech firm BYJU’S has recently named Lionel Messi as their brand ambassador for the social initiative Education for All. Messi will now promote the need for equitable education through this platform.
“High-quality education changes lives, and BYJU’S has transformed the career paths of millions of students worldwide. I hope to inspire young learners to reach and remain at the top,” added the superstar.
Interestingly BYJU’S are also an official sponsor of the upcoming Qatar World Cup 2022. Lionel Messi is set to lead his Argentine team in the global event.
So far this is the only trophy that has eluded the Argentine star in his career. He came very close to winning it in 2014 but failed in the final stage against Germany. Now the Argentine forward will have one last chance in Qatar.
The former Barcelona superstar has made a great start to the season. He has already scored twelve goals in the PSG shirt and also provided fourteen assists. On top of that, Messi has netted nine goals in his last three appearances for Argentina.
Similar to the PSG forward, Argentina are currently one of the most in-form teams in the world. They are undefeated in their last 35 outings. Lionel Messi’s side will arrive as a contender in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
