Argentina vs Mexico: Lionel Messi has become the first man ever to assist at five different editions of the FIFA World Cup.

When he assisted Enzo Fernandes in Argentina’s second in their win over Mexico, Messi became the first man to register an assist at five different editions of the FIFA World Cup. Messi now has six assists to his name across five World Cups.
