Germany’s FIFA World Cup 2022 Exit Will Be Shown on Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ Documentary
It was reported back in September that Amazon has chosen Germany to be the subject of their next ‘All or Nothing’ series. The six-part series, which follows Germany’s preparations for FIFA World Cup 2022, is due to be released in Spring 2023.
They followed that up with a 1-1 draw with Spain in a clash of European heavyweights. In Germany vs Spain fixture, the latter took the lead through Alvaro Morata in the 62nd minute of the match.
However, Die Mannschaft equalized through Niclas Füllkrug in the 83rd minute to earn a point from the fixture.
Germany headed into their third group stage fixture knowing it was a must-win game. They found themselves trailing the game 2-1 when Costa Rica scored their second goal of the match in the 70th minute. However, they sealed a comeback to earn all three points.
They secured a 4-2 win over Costa Rica but it was not enough for them to seal their place in the round-of-16.
Japan stunned Spain in another fixture that kicked off at the same time as Germany vs Costa Rica to top the Group E points table. The result of those matches left Japan top of the points table with six points from three matches.
Spain came second with four points from three matches. Germany also had four points, but Spain took the second position courtesy of a superior goal difference.
