Erik ten Hag Backs Marcus Rashford to Score 20 Premier League Goals in 22/23

Marcus Rashford has largely been impressive for Manchester United in the 22/23 season with the England international establishing himself as a key player under Erik ten Hag.

The 25-year-old had endured a rather disappointing and underwhelming 21/22 season at Manchester United. He scored just five goals and registered just two assists for the Red Devils in the 21/22 season.

Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford is capable of scoring 20 goals in the Premier League this season.

Of the nine goals Marcus Rashford has scored this season, only four have come in the English Premier League, where he has featured in every match the Red Devils have played in the 22/23 season.

Marcus Rashford has made 14 appearances in the Premier League this season – 13 of those as a starter and the other as a substitute.

Meanwhile, the England international’s other five goals have come in the Europa League – where he has scored three goals – and EFL Cup – where he has registered two goals.

The latest of those goals came in Man Utd’s EFL Cup round of 16 win over Burnley – in their first competitive match after the winter break. Marcus Rashford scored a sensational solo goal in the second half of the match as the Red Devils secured a 2-0 win.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will take on Nottingham Forest in their Premier League game after the winter break. The match between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest kicks off at 1:30 am Indian Standard Time, on December 28.
