Marcus Rashford has been impressive for Manchester United and England’s national football team in the 22/23 season. He has become a key player at Manchester United under manager Erik ten Hag.
Marcus Rashford’s current best goalscoring record in a single season is the 22 goals he scored in the 2019/20 season. The Manchester United star is aiming to better that tally in the 2022/23 season.
As aforementioned, Marcus Rashford has been impressive for Manchester United in the 22/23 season. The England international has already scored more goals in the 22/23 season than he managed in the entirety of the 21/22 season.
Marcus Rashford scored only five goals in the 21/22 season, but he has already managed to score 10 goals in the ongoing 22/23 season. Five of those goals have come in the Premier League, where he has featured in all 15 games the Red Devils have played this season. He has also scored three goals in the Europa League and two goals in the EFL Cup.
Marcus Rashford has also scored a goal each in the two games Manchester United have so far played after the winter break. He scored a sensational solo goal in their 2-0 win over Burnley in the EFL Cup.
The England international also found the net when Manchester United breezed past Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United currently sits fifth in the Premier League points table with 29 points from 15 matches in the English top flight in the 22/23 season. They are just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur, who sit fourth having played a game more than Man Utd has.
