Brighton Expecting Further Approaches From Arsenal & Chelsea For Moises Caicedo

Brighton & Hove Albion are expecting further approaches from Arsenal and Chelsea for midfielder Moises Caicedo after the Seagulls rejected a bid each from the Gunners and the Stamford Bridge outfit for the Ecuadorian midfielder.

Moises Caicedo has attracted transfer interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, and both Premier League sides have already seen their bid for the highly-rated 21-year-old turned down by Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton still does not want to sell the midfielder this month, but they are also expecting further approaches from Chelsea and Arsenal.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal are aiming to reinforce their midfield department before the January transfer window closes and have not given up hope of acquiring the services of Caicedo.

Meanwhile, Moises Caicedo has been a regular starter for Brighton in what has been an impressive 22/23 campaign for the Seagulls. Brighton sits sixth in the Premier League points table with 31 points from 19 matches.

Caicedo has featured in – and started in – 18 of those 19 Premier League games Brighton have so far played in the ongoing 22/23 campaign.

Meanwhile, Caicedo has a contract that runs until 2025 with Brighton. That means he has more than two years left on his current deal with the Seagulls.
