The report states that Barcelona are in talks with La Liga regarding their spending limits for the next season. The idea in the minds of Barcelona is to try to pull off a sensational return to the Catalan outfit for one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Barcelona’s financial struggles are well documented, and the Catalan outfit will almost certainly have to move a number of players on in order to bring Lionel Messi back to the club.
The report also states that Paris Saint-Germain still wants Lionel Messi to stay at the club beyond the end of the current campaign. However, the likelihood that Messi will go elsewhere has increased recently, and it has encouraged Barcelona.
It remains to be seen what decision Messi takes with regards to his future. If he decides to part ways with PSG at the end of the season, it will be interesting to see where the Argentine goes.
