Erik ten Hag Lavishes Praise on Alejandro Garnacho
Erik ten Hag Manchester United manager has lavished praise on Alejandro Garnacho, who has been impressive for the Old Trafford outfit in the 22/23 season.
After Bruno Fernandes scored a goal in the 78th minute to restore parity, Alejandro Garnacho set up Marcus Rashford to score the winner for Manchester United as the Red Devils earned all three points from the fixture.
Erik ten Hag also warned there is a lot more to come from Alejandro Garnacho and the Argentine youngster has a lot of room for improvement.
“Also for him, it’s to keep going in the process. It’s not done. There is a lot to come. There is a lot of room for improvement with him but he can help, he can contribute on the highest level already and I’m thrilled. It’s a bonus for us as a club that you bring in young players and they can come not only into the squad but the team and I think that is a part of our project that has to contribute to our success.”
The Red Devils are now just one point behind second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League points table. Erik ten Hag and co. sit fourth with 38 points from 18 matches. Manchester City have 39 points from 18 matches while third-placed Newcastle United have 38 points from 19 matches.
Arsenal, meanwhile, tops the Premier League points table with 47 points from 18 matches. They are nine points clear of Manchester United.
However, the Red Devils will have the opportunity to reduce their gap on Arsenal to six points when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on the Gunners in the Premier League this weekend.
