Erik Ten Hag Vows to End Manchester United Trophy Drought
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is willing to do everything to end the Red Devils’ trophy drought. The Dutch manager took charge at Old Trafford at the start of the current season.
The Manchester outfit last tasted success in 2017. They lifted the Carabao Cup after defeating rivals Manchester City in the final. This is their longest run without a major trophy in 40 years.
Manchester United’s Erik Ten Hag, the Red Devils trophy drought have gone on too long. He insists to do everything to bring the silverware back to Old Trafford.
“But now it is a period Manchester United have failed to win trophies and it is too long ago. We are aware of that fact and we have to do everything to bring a trophy in.”
Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain, and Arsenal have also shown interest in signing him in recent weeks. He is valued at around £70 million. Erik ten Hag will need to pay a transfer window of close to that sum to sell him.
Dusan Vlahovic joined the Turin outfit from Fiorentina during the winter transfer window of 2022. He has played 36 games (in all competitions) for Juve so far, registering 16 goals and four assists. The Serbia international was part of the “Seria A Team of the Season 2021-22”.
Manchester United are currently fourth in the Premier League table, with 39 points from 20 games. They will next lock horns against Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-finals on January 26.
