Harry Kane Addresses Speculation Surrounding His Tottenham Future
Harry Kane has insisted he is focused on the ongoing season amid speculation surrounding his future, with the Englishman now in the final 18 months of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
“(There’s) still a lot to play for, trying to get in the Champions League, and we’ve got the Champions League and FA Cup still to try and win so my focus is on that. I know there’s probably going to be rumours and a lot of talk about my future. But I’m just focused on what I can do,” he added.
If Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane fail to reach an agreement over extending his contract beyond 2024, the north London club will need to decide whether to sell the Englishman in the summer or let him enter the final year of his contract.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane has been impressive for Tottenham Hotspur in the 22/23 season. He has featured in 29 games across Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup for Tottenham Hotspur in the 22/23 season.
Kane has racked up 18 goals and three assists for Tottenham Hotspur in those matches. 16 of those goals have come in the Premier League, where Tottenham Hotspur sits fifth in the points table. Spurs have 36 points from 21 matches in the Premier League so far in the 22/23 season.
