Jack Grealish Hails Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe’s FIFA World Cup 2022 Performance
The World Cup 2022 has already seen some great individual performances. Although no player has scored a hat trick, there have been plenty of braces. The footballing world have also seen penalties saved by goalkeepers.
Jack Grealish has hailed Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe’s performance at FIFA World Cup 2022. Speaking to talkSPORT, Jack Grealish described what Lionel Messi did against Mexico as unbelievable.
“I was watching Messi [against Mexico], unbelievable. He just showed what he’s about in that second half but then again so did Mbappe.”
Lionel Messi, however, stepped up to deliver when Argentina was under pressure. The Argentine superstar, with a finely struck long-ranger, gave his side the lead against Mexico. He also assisted Enzo Fernandez, who scored their second goal as they defeated Mexico 2-0.
Kylian Mbappe has also been impressive for defending FIFA World Cup champions France. France have already sealed their place in the round-of-16, with two wins in two matches.
Kylian Mbappe scored for France in both games. The Paris Saint-Germain superstar scored a goal as they defeated Australia 4-1 in their opening match of World Cup 2022.
Kylian Mbappe also bagged a brace when France faced Denmark in their second group-stage match. France got the better of Denmark with a 2-1 win, courtesy of Kylian Mbappe’s goals.
