Neymar and Mbappe soon formed a deadly duo and started to rule in the footballing world. The duo’s presence became so terrifying that they were often regarded as one of the best of all time.
Recently, Mbappe got the opportunity to leave the Paris-based club and join La Liga giants Real Madrid. However, the forward decided to stay at the Parc des Princes and sign one of the most luxurious contracts of all time. Since then, things between him and Neymar have not been the same at all.
After Mbappe’s contract renewal, the French forward reportedly wanted Neymar out of the club due to the Brazilian’s rising influence in the dressing room.
It became publically clear when Neymar and the French forward had a clear dispute over a penalty in their French League match against Montpellier.
Paris Saint-Germain soon had a dressing room meeting to finish this dispute but reportedly has failed to do so.
Amidst all this, another PSG superstar Lionel Messi who is also one of his best friends of Neymar has expressed his feeling about the French forward and his teammate Kylian Mbappe.
He further continued, “He is a complete player and he has proved it for years, and in the years to come, he will certainly be among the best.”
Kylian Mbappe is currently playing for his national team, France at the UEFA Nations League. The French forward recently scored a spectacular goal against Austria in a 2-0 win. But then in their latest encounter against Denmark suffered a 2-0 loss and narrowly escaped relation to the B Division.
Lionel Messi meanwhile is also currently with his national team, Argentina. The Argentine captain scored a brace against Honduras in a 3-0 win and is in great form right now. Argentina will now face Jamaica in their next match.
