Lionel Messi Reunites With Sergio Busquets & Jordi Alba in Barcelona For Dinner

Lionel Messi reunited with his former teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets in Barcelona after Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier gave the team a day off after their 4-3 win over LOSC Lille in Ligue 1.

Lionel Messi flew to Barcelona along with his family after being given a day off and met up with his former Barcelona teammates along with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo.

Antonela Roccuzzo took to Instagram to post an image of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba along with their respective partners outside a restaurant in Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has entered the final six months of his current contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Although PSG would like to keep hold of Lionel Messi beyond the expiry of his current deal, they have not yet reached an agreement with the Argentine superstar over a contract extension.

Lionel Messi, meanwhile, has been impressive for Paris Saint-Germain in the ongoing 22/23 campaign. In fact, it was his last-gasp goal that earned PSG all three points in their most recent fixture.

PSG took on LOSC Lille in a Ligue 1 fixture in their most recent match. After taking a two-goal lead, PSG conceded three goals to trail the game 3-2. However, Kylian Mbappe scored late in the game to restore parity.

Messi then scored a sensational free-kick goal in injury time to help PSG get the better of LOSC Lille and secure victory.

The Argentine superstar has featured in 27 games across all competitions for PSG so far in the 22/23 campaign. He has racked up 16 goals and 14 assists in those matches for the French behemoths.

19 of Messi’s appearances this season have come in Ligue 1. He has amassed 11 goals and 10 assists in those matches for the defending Ligue 1 champions.

Meanwhile, PSG, who sit atop the Ligue 1 points table with a five-point lead, will take on Marseille in their next match.
