Liverpool FC: Jurgen Klopp Admits Problem He Can’t Ignore
Liverpool news: The Reds have endured a difficult start to the current season. They have managed to win just two of their opening seven league games.
The Merseysiders also suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League last month.
The 2019-20 Premier League champions need to return to their best soon if they want to challenge for the league title this term.
The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp admits his team lacks confidence and momentum.
Momentum with the late goal, and late winner, we could have taken a lot of things into the next game, but unfortunately, we didn’t play. Since then, that feeling is pretty much gone.”
Nunes joined the Wolves from Sporting CP during the recently concluded transfer window. He has made an instant impact at the club, assisting one goal in six Premier League appearances.
The 24-year-old midfielder enjoyed an excellent spell with Sporting CP. He played 76 league games for the Liga BWIN club, scoring seven goals. Nunes helped Sporting win one Primeira Liga title, two Taca da Liga and one Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. He was included in the Primeira Liga Team of the Season 2021-22 and also won the Primeira Liga Midfielder of the Month accolade twice.
However, luring him away from the Molineux Stadium won’t be an easy task as he has just joined the Wolves. The Central England outfit is likely to demand a huge transfer fee if they agree to sell him.
Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways when they lock horns against Rangers in the UEFA Champions League on October 5.
