Manchester United attacker Antony was involved in a terrifying motorway crash on New Year’s Eve. He escaped unhurt from the crash.
Antony joined Manchester United for a record fee of £85 million during last summer’s transfer window. He has had a mixed start to his life at Old Trafford. The Brazil international has played eight Premier League games for the Red Devils so far, scoring three goals. He also scored one goal in one FA Cup appearance.
Manchester United attacker Antony was involved in a terrifying car crash as he smashed his BMW X6 into roadworks on New Year’s Eve. The 20-year-old attacker escaped unhurt from the crash but was badly shaken.
Antony was subsequently left out of the squad that played Bournemouth in the Premier League last week. The Brazil international spoke about the incident after the Red Devils’ FA Cup win against Everton on Friday.
His form for Atletico Madrid in LaLiga is also impressive. He has played 16 games so far, registering five goals and five assists.
Manchester United are currently fourth in the Premier League table, with 35 points in 17 games. They will next play Charlton in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on January 11. Antony is likely to play a key role during the game.
