Manchester United Transfer News: Erik Ten Hag Insists Marcus Rashford Not For Sale

PSG have reportedly identified Rashford as a transfer target as they look to further bolster their attacking department.

The report further states Red Devils are keen to extend Rashford’s contract with the club. Rashford’s current deal runs until 2023, with the option to extend it for another year.

Ten Hag insisted Rashford is important for the team, and that he does not want to lose the 24-year-old attacker.

Despite talks with Rashford’s representatives, PSG has not yet made contact with Man Utd for a possible move for the England international. Man Utd is also unlikely to entertain any bid for the attacker should one arrives.

The Red Devils are looking for attacking reinforcements, and would not want to lose one of their key players. Rashford is expected to be an important player under manager Ten Hag.

Rashford had also started for Man Utd in their Premier League 2022/23 season opener vs Brighton & Hove Albion. He played the full match as Man Utd succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Man Utd will play their second Premier League game of the season tomorrow. They travel to Gtech Community Stadium to take on Brentford in an away match. The match will kick off at 10:00 pm Indian Standard Time.

Man Utd will be hoping to earn their first points of the season when they face Brentford. The Bees come into the game, having drawn Leicester City 2-2 in their first match.
