“Mikel Arteta is the Best in This Moment”, Erik ten Hag Hails Arsenal Manager
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has labelled Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta as the best manager in the Premier League ahead of the clash between the two sides in the English top-flight.
Arsenal are the Premier League leaders, with the Gunners sitting atop the points table with 47 points from 18 matches. They enjoy a five-point lead over second-placed Manchester City, who have 42 points from 19 matches. Newcastle United, who sit third, have 40 points from 20 matches, while fourth-placed Manchester United have 39 points from 19 matches.
Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League match against Arsenal, Erik ten Hag was full of praise for Mikel Arteta. Erik ten Hag described what Mikel Arteta is doing at Arsenal as ‘huge’ and also labelled the Gunners as the most consistent team in the Premier League.
“He [Mikel Arteta] is definitely one of them. What he’s doing, he’s the best in this moment because it’s really a big performance, it’s huge what he’s doing.”
On Mikel Arteta, Erik ten Hag added: “He’s managing his team and they are so consistent, the most consistent team in the Premier League in this moment, playing incredible football. It’s fantastic.
“But we want to beat them. We are looking forward and we beat them already one time and we want to go for the second time. We know how to do it.“
The match between Manchester United and Arsenal kicks-off at 10:00pm Indian Standard Time on January 22.
