3 Forwards Picks for your FPL Gameweek 7

Gameweek 7 of FPL has arrived. For our supporters, the Premier League will have another thrilling weekend of high-intensity matches. We have seen certain players do very well thus far in the season, while several regulars have had below-average performances.

Mo Salah has been absent for the previous several weeks in FPL, while Erling Haaland has been defying all sense since joining Manchester City. All FPL managers will struggle with choosing their teams as another game week draws near.

One crucial part of your FPL team is the Forwards. Forwards play a crucial role in any team as they give you multiple points from scoring goals and also provide assists an ample amount of time.

With GW 7 looming upon us we decide to help you out with Forwards picks. Here are a few Forwards that FPL managers can consider for their FPL team this week.

Haaland has just been unstoppable since his arrival from Dortmund to Manchester City. Since joining Manchester City Norwegian has been in fine form. He has 10 goals and one assist in 6 games so far in the Premier League. Haaland has an Expected Goals (xG) of 7.04 and an Expected Assists (xA) of 2.19.

He collected a whopping 67 points in 6 game weeks, averaging almost 11 points per game week. Haaland Ranks 1st in match influence and attacking threat, and also 1st in overall ICT rank for PL players.481 match points in 6 matches is a record for an FPL player.

Manchester City faces Spurs going this gameweek but with form, Manchester City is especially going forward. This game might turn out to be a goal feast for them. With Haaland leading the line and Kevin De Bruyne supplying him with wonderful passes which nobody can imagine, we expect City vs Spurs to be a highly competitive game.

As far as FPL managers are concerned Haaland is a sure-shot pick for everyone as he hasn’t failed to score or assist in 6 games so far. With Haaland, you can surely guarantee points.

Toney was quiet for a few weeks and some managers removed and paid the price. Ivan Toney answered his critics in style. Toney scored a hattrick last game week and returned with a bang on FPL.

He has registered an xG of 3.39, and an xA of 2.21. He is looking like one of the best mid-priced forwards in the game. Averages almost 7.5 points per game week in FPL this season, second among all forwards. He ranks 10th in overall ICT rank among FPL players, gathering 17 points last game week.

Brentford is facing a relatively easy opponent this weekend. They are up against Southampton who is defensively shaky. With 10 goals scored against them, the Saints have expected goals conceded (xG) of 8.7. The Bees have also performed well in the final third, where they have scored 15 goals with an xG of 12.23. With a 47% Goal Involvement, Toney is their talisman and one of the league’s greatest Forwards.

Thus with Brentford playing against Southampton, we expect Toney to be the ideal man for that list of forwards to have in your FPL team.

The third player on our list of Forwards is Fulham man Mitrovic. Fulham though themselves are having a tough start to their premier league return. Mitrovic is enjoying his stay in the premier league. He has been scoring goals at crucial junctures for them and also earning crucial points in FPL.

Mitrovic averages 6.5 points per game week with important points against top opposition. He Ranks 5th in overall ICT rank among FPL players and is in the top 10 in every category. Mitrovic has scored 6 goals so far in PL that too against crucial opponents.

Fulham is facing Chelsea this weekend. On Paper it looks like tough opposition but with a lot of off-the-field drama ongoing at Chelsea, this could be their best chance. Chelsea as of now after the sacking of Thomas Tuchel hasn’t had a coach and on the managerial level, it is a bit complicated for them. Also considering Chelsea’s away record lost the last 3 games and this game being played on Fulham’s home turf they must fancy their chances.

If Fulham has caused an upset to Chelsea who is already down both on and off the field then their star man Mitrovic has to step up and lead the line. For FPL managers this could be their best bet to get Mitrovic in their squad and score some brown points on their others as he is very much expected to score this weekend.
