PSG Transfer News: Christophe Galtier Refuses to Rule Out Milan Skriniar Move
PSG transfer news: Manager Christophe Galtier has refused to rule out a move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
“Skriniar has been a target for a long time. Negotiations with Inter are very difficult and you have to respect their position.” He added: “But anything is possible.”
The defending Ligue 1 champions have been very active in the summer transfer market. They have reinforced their midfield department with the addition of three signings.
PSG have signed Portuguese duo Vitinha and Renato Sanches. Vitinha has joined PSG from Portuguese outfit Porto. The 22-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract with the French outfit.
Sanches, meanwhile, left LOSC Lille for their Ligue 1 rivals. The 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder has also signed a five-year contract with the club.
PSG’s latest addition to the midfield department is Fabian Ruiz. The Parisians have signed Ruiz from Serie A side Napoli, also on a five-year contract.
PSG have also further bolstered their attacking department with the addition of Hugo Ekitike on loan from Reims. They have also made Nuno Mendes’ move to the club permanent. PSG have also landed Nordi Mukiele from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.
PSG began their Ligue 1 title defense in an emphatic fashion. They faced Clermont Foot in their first game of the league campaign and secured a 5-0 victory.
PSG then took Montpellier and registered another thumping win. Galtier’s side inflicted a 5-2 defeat on Montpellier.
PSG made it three wins from three matches with their hammering of LOSC Lille. The defending champions ran riot against Lille, defeating them 7-1.
However, PSG’s perfect start to the campaign came to an end when they faced AS Monaco. PSG could only earn a point from the fixture as Monaco held them to a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, PSG faces Toulouse in their next game in the French top flight.
