Rio Ferdinand Pledges to Try to Set up a Meeting Between Ishowspeed and Cristiano Ronaldo
Social media sensation IShowSpeed or more famously known as Speed travelled over from the United States to witness Manchester United’s latest Carabao Cup match against Aston Villa on Thursday evening. He had the hope of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Unfortunately, Cristiano Ronaldo was not included in the squad due to an illness. manchester United though did not disappoint him. The Reds Devils came back twice against Aston Villa to win the game by a scoreline of 4-2.
It was a very eventful night for Speed who enjoyed the evening at the Theatre of dreams. He saw his team making a fantastic comeback, got to enjoy the hospitality of Old Trafford, and even mistook 83-year-old Paddy Crerand for David Beckham. However his main aim of seeing Ronaldo was still not fulfilled.
In between all this, IShowSpeed had a facetime with former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand. The Red Devils legend pledged to “hook him up” with the Portuguese star.
“Oh yeah, you love Ronaldo innit? Have you met him yet? What?!? Do you want me to hook you up? He’s my boy.“ told Rio Ferdinand.
IShowSpeed was stunned and could not believe that his dream of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo can actually become true. So Speed wanted to know if the former Manchester United defender was lying.
Ferdinand however was totally serious. The former defender asked the YouTuber how long he was staying in England. Speed who has an obsession with Ronaldo, simply could not believe the whole thing.
And the YouTuber told Rio Ferdinand that he would stay as long as possible to meet Cristiano Ronaldo. Ferdinand then once again confirmed that he was not joking.
“No no, I’m gonna try and hook you up then. I’m gonna try and hook you up. You’ve been DM’ing me anyway so I’ll contact you offline and then I’ll try and make something happen for you,” told Ferdinand.
Speed was still in shock and still could not believe the whole thing. He told Ferdinand about his obsession with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Seeing all this, Ferdinand asked Speed to not bark in front of Cristiano Ronaldo when they meet. Speed confirmed that he will do anything to meet the legend.
