PSG Are Interested in Signing Victor Osimhen From Napoli
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in Napoli and Nigeria national football team striker Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Napoli after the end of the current campaign. Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and PSG are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the attacker, who has been impressive for Napoli.
Foot Mercato also reports that an agreement between Victor Osimhen and PSG over a possible contract is not far away.
However, Napoli are in a strong bargaining position when it comes to a potential sale of Victor Osimhen. The 24-year-old has a contract that runs until 2025 with Napoli. That means he has two years left on his current deal with the Italian side. Napoli could look to ask for as much as €150m for the highly-rated striker.
A move to Paris Saint-Germain is not a priority for Victor Osimhen, according to the report. The Nigerian international would prefer a move to Premier League while he would also be seduced by the idea of joining Bayern Munich, the defending Bundesliga champions.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has been superb for Napoli in the current campaign. He has racked up 26 goals across all competitions for Napoli so far this season. 21 of those goals have come in Serie A, where Napoli are the outright and overwhelming favourites to win the title.
Napoli sits at the top of the Serie A points table with 78 points from 31 games so far in the 22/23 season. They enjoy a 17-point lead over second-placed Lazio in the race for the Serie A title. Lazio have 61 points from 31 games in the Italian top flight so far this season.
It remains to be seen if Victor Osimhen will leave Napoli in the summer, and if yes, the club he will sign for.
