Gabriel Jesus Hails Bukayo Saka & Gabriel Martinelli as ‘Machines’

Gabriel Jesus has lavished praise on his Arsenal teammates Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, labelling the duo as ‘machines’.

Jesus joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window, leaving Man City to sign for the north London outfit.

The Brazilian international has been impressive for Arsenal so far this season. He has already racked up five goals for the Gunners in the Premier League this season. In addition to that, he has also provided four assists in the English top-flight so far in the 22/23 campaign.

Jesus has also registered an assist in the Europa League, where he has made three appearances this season. However, he is without a goal in Europa League so far this season.

He described the pair as machines and said he is lucky to play with the duo, who he says has a lot of energy.

Jesus also addressed his goal drought. The Brazilian international has failed to score a goal in his last five appearances for Arsenal. Jesus said it is part of football but insisted he will try to end the drought in the next game.

It’s happened before and I’m sure it will happen again. That’s football,” Jesus said. “I don’t want it to be like this. I want to improve. Next game I will try again and 100% I will score.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have had a stellar start to the season. The Gunners sit top of the Premier League points table with 28 points from a possible 33 after 11 matches. Arsenal are also two points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have 26 points.

In the Europa League, Arsenal have won all four games they have played so far in the competition this season. They top Group A with 12 points from four matches. They will be aiming to extend that winning streak when they face PSV next.
