Graham Potter Speaks About Injuries to Raheem Sterling & Christian Pulisic

Chelsea manager Graham Potter spoke about the injuries sustained by Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic in their defeat to Manchester City in a Premier League fixture.

Chelsea took on Manchester City in the English top-flight, and the Blues slumped to a 1-0 defeat to the defending Premier League. They also suffered injury blows during the game as both Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic were forced off the pitch in the first half.

Graham Potter also revealed why Mason Mount missed the game against Manchester City. The England international was not part of the Chelsea squad that squared off with Manchester City.

Explaining Mason Mount’s absence, Graham Potter said: “Mason [Mount] got a kick yesterday in training, again we’re hopeful for the weekend but it’s one of those things at the moment. I’ve never experienced anything like it and I’d ideally not want to experience it here. But it is what it is, I have to just carry on.

Meanwhile, the defeat to Manchester City leaves Chelsea 10th in the Premier League points table. The west London outfit have 25 points from 17 games in the Premier League and are 19 points behind table toppers Arsenal, who have 44 points.

Chelsea are also 10 points behind Manchester United, who sit fourth in the Premier League points table with 35 points from 17 matches.
