But now it looks like Real Madrid will soon get their man. According to AS, Mbappe has told Los Blancos that he will join them in 2024. In the summer of 2024, the former Monaco star will be a free agent. This is because he only agreed to a contract extension with PSG for two years.
According to AS, Kylian Mbappe has informed Real Madrid that he intends to join them in the summer of 2024.
Florentino Perez was said to be very upset with the Frenchman when he rejected the chance to sign for them last year. Since then they have been linked with Erling Haaland as an alternative. However, the Manchester City forward will be an extremely expensive acquisition as well.
With Karim Benzema now 36 years, it is high time for Real Madrid to find a natural successor for him. Mbappe fits the bill but Los Blancos fans will be unhappy with him and he will have to win over the supporters.
Paris Saint Germain did manage to keep hold of the Frenchman in 2021. However, it came at a big cost. Currently, the Frenchman earns around £650k-a-week and he is one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.
