However, then Manchester City won back-to-back Premier League titles and restored their dominance.
In the last six seasons, Guardiola has won 4 English Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup, 4 EFL Cups, and 2 FA Community Shields with Manchester City. The only major trophy which he has failed to lift in his City career so far is the UEFA Champions League title.
Under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have got a good start to their title defense. the Citizens have won ten out of their first fourteen matches. With thirty-two points, they are currently in the second position in the table.
Pep Guardiola’s side are only behind Arsenal. The Gunners currently have 37 points and got a five points lead over Guardiola’s side. Both the teams are yet to face each other and will still have to play 24 matches.
So Manchester City will get enough chances to hold their title. In the UEFA Champions League, they have qualified for the round of 16 by being the top-placed team in their group. They will face RB Leipzig in their next match.

According to the report, Pep Guardiola will soon go to Abu Dhabi and have a meeting with Manchester City’s top management. The Spaniard has earlier revealed that City can easily move forward without him.
