FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri is not ruling out a move to Premier League in the future but hopes he will stay at the Catalan outfit for many more years.
Pedri is currently on the sidelines after suffering an injury during Barcelona’s Europa League knockout play-off first-leg match against Manchester United. He has missed all the game Barcelona have played since, and is also set to miss their Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Real Madrid in April.
Pedri has a contract that runs until 2026 with Barcelona. That means he has three years left on his current deal with the Spanish behemoths. He has been linked with a move away from Barcelona in the past, but Pedri is hopeful of staying at his current club for many more years.
Pedri will be aiming to recover full fitness and return to action soon. He has been a key player for Barcelona, who will be aiming to end the season on a high note.
Barcelona have already won the Spanish Super Cup title and remains in contention for La Liga and Copa del Rey titles.
Barcelona are the favourites to win the La Liga 22/23 title ahead of defending champions Real Madrid. In the race for the La Liga title, Barcelona enjoys a 12-point lead over Real Madrid. Unless Barcelona bottles such a huge lead, the Catalan outfit will win the league title this season.
Barcelona have also reached the semi-finals of Copa del Rey. They defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in the semi-final first leg, and have the edge heading into the second leg, which will take place in April.
Meanwhile, Barcelona resumes their campaign after the March international break with a La Liga fixture against Elche.
