PSG Transfer News: Club Agree Deal to Sign Carlos Soler
PSG transfer News: The French giants have struck a deal with Valencia to sign Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler.
Soler has been playing for Valencia’s senior team since 2016 and has so far made 226 appearances for the Spanish club. He has also scored 36 goals for Valencia during his time there.
The French behemoths have been very active in the summer transfer market. They have bolstered their midfield department with three additions.
PSG have signed Portuguese internationals Vitinha and Renato Sanchez. Vitinha has joined PSG from Porto, while Sanchez swapped Lille for their Ligue 1 rivals. They have also acquired the services of midfielder Fabian Ruiz from Napoli.
PSG have also signed French right-back Nordi Mukiele from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. They have also made Nuno Mendes’ signing permanent. 20-year-old striker Hugo Ekitike has also joined PSG, on loan from Reims.
PSG sit on top of the Ligue 1 table, with 10 points from their first four matches. The defending Ligue 1 champions kicked off their league campaign with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Clermont Foot.
They made it two wins in two matches when they faced Montpellier, defeating them 5-2. Neymar bagged a brace in the game.
PSG maintained their perfect start to the season when they faced LOSC Lille, who they trounced 7-1. Kylian Mbappe starred for PSG, scoring a hat-trick while Neymar contributed two goals.
However, PSG’s winning run came to a stop when they faced AS Monaco. PSG shared points against Monaco, who held them to a 1-1 draw.
PSG faces Toulouse FC next and will be hoping to make it 13 points from five matches.
