Real Madrid Are Interested in Ibrahima Konate
According to Media Foot, Real Madrid could be plotting a move to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate.
Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be a big fan of the Frenchman and could make an effort to sign him in the future. However, the Reds are unlikely to entertain offers for him given both Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip are in the decline of their respective careers.
Liverpool signed Ibrahima Konate for £35 million from RB Leipzig during the summer window of 2021. He has played 34 games (in all competitions) for the Reds so far, registering three goals and one assist. The France international helped the Reds win the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and FA Community Shield last season.
Especially [at] this age, it’s amazing what he can do. He’s strong in challenges, in the air, on the ground, the pace, [he’s] comfortable with the ball – it’s everything you need.”
Nunes joined the Central England side for a transfer fee of £38 million. However, he has struggled to adapt completely at the Molineux Stadium. The Portugal international has played 16 games (in all competitions) for the Wolves so far, recording one assist.
