Real Madrid player ratings vs Sevilla: Los Blancos dropped two points in their most recent fixture in La Liga after playing out a 2-2 draw with Sevilla. How did Real Madrid players perform against Sevilla?
Real Madrid resumed their campaign after the October international break with a La Liga match against Sevilla. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s men failed to secure all three points from the fixture and had to settle for a draw.
Sevilla led through a David Alaba own goal in the 74th minute of the match. However, Real Madrid restored parity on the 78-minute mark, courtesy of a goal from Dani Carvajal.
Real Madrid could not find a winner in the remainder of the game and shared spoils with Sevilla. Let’s take a look at Real Madrid’s player ratings vs Sevilla.
Kepa Arrizabalaga – 8 – Couldn’t keep a clean sheet as David Alaba conceded an own goal. Arrizabalaga should have done better to prevent that goal. However, it was still an impressive performance as the goalkeeper made a number of saves.
Dani Carvajal – 8 – After Sevilla took the lead in the 74th minute, it was Carvajal who restored parity for Real Madrid.
David Alaba – 4 – Conceded an own goal. Should have done better to avoid that.
Antonio Rudiger – 7 – A good performance from the Real Madrid defender. Also clashed with club legend and Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos.
Ferland Mendy – 5 – A good defensive performance. But his contribution to Real Madrid’s attacking third should have been more and better.
Toni Kroos – 7 – Provided the assist for Dani Carvajal’s goal. It was his delivery from a free-kick that Carvajal headed in to restore parity for Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni – 5 – Not his best performance. Was replaced by Eduardo Camavinga in the 67th minute of the match.
Federico Valverde – 6 – Saw a goal ruled out for offside. Was a decent performance from the Uruguayan international.
Jude Bellingham – 7 – Not his best performance but that should not come as a surprise given how impressive he has been for Real Madrid this season.
Vinicius Jr – 6 – Not as incisive as he should have been.
Rodrygo – 6 – Has only scored one goal so far this season. That came in Real Madrid’s La Liga opener. That goal drought continues.
