Vinicius Jr Attracts Transfer Interest From Paris Saint-Germain
Vinicius Jr has attracted transfer interest from Paris Saint-Germain and the French outfit will try to sign the Brazilian attacker if Real Madrid lands Kylian Mbappe, according to a report.
Vinicius Jr has been impressive for Real Madrid in the 22/23 season. He is already considered one of the best attackers in world football. He remains a key player for the defending Champions League winners.
According to a report in Planeta Real Madrid, Real Madrid manager Florentino Perez has already made it clear to Vinicius Jr is that their future project revolves around him and that he remains a priority for them.
PSG, however, could look to lure Vinicius Jr to the French capital if Real Madrid signs Kylian Mbappe. However, Real Madrid will not entertain any approaches for Vinicius, who has been one of their best players in the current campaign.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti described Vinicius Jr as the most decisive player in the world after the Brazilian attacker starred for them in their defeat of Liverpool at Anfield.
However, Real Madrid needed to come from behind after they got off to a disastrous start. Goals from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah saw Real Madrid trail the game, but they pulled off a comeback and Vinicius Jr was key to that.
Vinicius halved the deficit with a stunning strike in the 21st minute before restoring parity for Real Madrid in the 36th minute. He also assisted Real Madrid’s fifth goal of the match, scored by Karim Benzema.
Vinicius Jr has featured in 35 games across all competitions for Real Madrid so far in the 22/23 season. He has racked up 18 goals and nine assists in those fixtures.
Vinicius, meanwhile, has a contract that runs until 2024 with Real Madrid. That means he has only a little over a year left on his current deal with the Spanish behemoths.
