Graham Potter Reacts to Chelsea’s 1-1 Draw With Nottingham Forest
Chelsea manager Graham Potter confessed that their performance was not good enough to take three points from the Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest after the two sides played out a 1-1 draw.
Graham Potter and co. are trailing Premier League table-toppers Arsenal by 18 points, with the Gunners occupying first place with 43 points.
Speaking after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, Graham Potter admitted that their performance was not good enough to secure a victory in that fixture.
Graham Potter also confessed that Chelsea did not move the ball fast enough and that there was not enough movement from their side.
“When the game became a bit more out of control we suffered with the duels and struggled to deal with that aspect. It’s a tough game, Forest played a good game but we’re disappointed with our performance over the 90 minutes and concerned we didn’t deserve the win.”
Chelsea now have just four points in their last five fixtures in the Premier League. They will face defending Premier League champions Manchester City, who sit second in the table, in their next game in the English top flight. Man City are 11 points ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League points table.
Chelsea could drop further down the table if they fail to pick up any points against Manchester City, who go into the game against the Blues on the back of their 1-1 draw with Everton.
